We are featuring the artwork of
for the month of January!
Join Daniel on Saturday, January 14th from 1-5 at Perspective Art Gallery to enjoy refreshments and fine art!
Born and raised in the South Carolina Lowcountry, Daniel spent nearly a decade entertaining guests of Charleston with his charisma. As a private tour guide, he shared his expertise of the Holy City and local plantations to many. Undoubtedly, during this time, he fell in love with all that Historic Charleston and the surrounding areas had to offer.
Years ago, while teaching martial arts in a local art gallery, Daniel was inspired to try art for himself. He immediately began to learn to paint the Lowcountry surroundings that he had come to know so well. He enjoys painting coastal scenery and Historic Charleston architecture.
Although each new subject may dictate his approach, Daniel's paintings are alive with color, some brushstrokes, and hints of a palate knife. He enjoys creating expressive atmospheric works. He believes that there should be something about a piece that makes it difficult to take your eye off of the painting.
Daniel is currently a member of the Mount Pleasant Artist Guild, Charleston Artist Guild, and the Waccamaw Neck Arts Alliance.
